Teleconference moderator rights

A teleconference set through the website www and/or in the HaloNet account panel.
A person who sets the teleconference and gets the individual code (ADMIN PIN) is a teleconference moderator.

You need to provide the ADMIN PIN while joining the teleconference in order to have a possibility of changing the teleconference settings. Do not facilitate the ADMIN PIN to others (the teleconference line can get crossed in case many people use the moderator rights at the same time.)

Teleconference set by the phone
A person who reserved a teleconference by the phone is a moderator (in this case the moderator does not get the ADMIN PIN number).

Moderator rights
A moderator has permission to change the options´ settings during the teleconference. In order to activate the moderator menu, you need to press the device you use to make a teleconference * (asterisk), and then choose a number which corresponds to a command, i.e.:

- turn on/off the microphone, choose 1;
block/unblock a possibility of joining the teleconference, choose 2;
- ask the last participant to leave, choose 3;
- lower/raise the volume of the teleconference, choose 4 or 6;
- lower/raise your volume, choose 7 or 9.

You can exit the menu, depending on the chosen option, either automatically or after choosing 8.

Additional moderator options
Depending on how the teleconference reservation is made, the moderator gets other additional options.

Additional information

a) moderator of the teleconference set up by the phone, can end it by leaving the teleconference room;

b) moderator of the teleconference set up through the website www can send an automatic notification to the participants via email. This notification includes: the teleconference start date and the access data;

c) moderator of the teleconference set up in the HaloNet account panel gets the permission to:

- send an automatic notification via email to the participants. This notification includes: the teleconference start date and the access data necessary to join the teleconference (the notification is sent after the registration and one hour before the beginning of the teleconference);
- send a paid SMS with notification to the participants. The notification includes: the teleconference start date and the access data necessary to join the teleconference (the notification is sent after the registration and/or one hour before the beginning of the teleconference).
